This year I joined the Brisbane City Council Art Bites program, running 2 monoprinting workshops. The idea of the program is to expose residents to creative experiences.
I had a lot of fun, even if things did get a bit frantic at times due to the large class sizes (15!). Below is a few photos from the workshops. Thanks to Access Arts, particularly Joelene and Anthea. Its nice just to walk in and run a workshop without having to worry about bookings and all that admin and paperwork!

WEll, everyone seems very focussed.A good workshoop, I;d say.
ReplyDeleteSandra, I'd like to know a little more about "Thumper" if you don't mind.I am considering getting a press and, while I've never been entirely happy about the smaller ones, you and your class seem to have a happy relationship.
Size limits are a major concern for me so if you could tell me Thumper's width I'd be grateful.
Hi, its a german ABIG press, width of the bed is 50cm. Its a fully geared press and a great worker! I've had it for 4 years. I store it on a trolley which I can wheel around the house to wherever I am working. I love my 'Thumper'. :-)
